FTI Consulting expanded their practice offering in the Middle East region by introducing a dedicated Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice, providing solutions to a wide range of stakeholders in the banking, private equity, sovereign wealth, and corporate sectors in acquisitions and disposals as well as stressed and distressed situations across the Middle East.
As the UAE and Middle Eastern markets become ever more sophisticated, our clients require a combination of financial, technical, business, and industry experience. What You Will Do
Your typical day might include the following:
•Undertaking a variety of research tasks for existing clients
•Supporting colleagues on new business proposals
•Summary and analytical tasks
•Attend meeting and draft meeting minutes
•Support on general project work:
oPrepare data books using Excel;
oAnalysis of data and discuss findings with team;
oAssist in report drafting using Powerpoint.
•Attending trainings and completing eLearning courses.
How You Will Grow
Our Dubai-based Corporate Finance internship will provide you with the opportunity to work in one of our practices of the Corporate Finance segment, including Restructuring, Valuations &Transactions, Tax advisory and Business Transformation. You will be immersed in a fast-paced learning environment, where your development will be supported as much by colleagues and senior members of your teams.
Throughout the internship you will be supported by your performance coach and a buddy who can support and guide you through your career goals and development, in addition to our Human Resources team.
What You Will Need to Succeed
•Outstanding communication skills
•A penultimate year student studying at university and due to graduate in 2026
•Must be available toconduct an 8-week internship between 30 June-22 August 2025
•Studying a Bachelor’s degree in a business/economics or finance degree preferred
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
•An ability to work individually and as part of the team
•A strong work ethic
•Creative flair and the ability to think outside the box
•Proactivity, and confidence to volunteer for a task without being asked
•A flexible approach to work, particularly in pressurised situations, and being able to think on your feet
•Has a good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
