Key Accountabilities 


  • Support identifying DDW’s requirements, researching and technically evaluating al possible sources of subcontractors.
  • Support evaluating the change orders, modifications and disputes related to subcontractors assignments. 
  • Leading subcon planning , development and maintaining subcontractor resources and selection plan. Develop 5 weekly & forecast plan and carry out all daily production activities in relation with subcontractors (daily tasks, meetings, documentations & communications)
  • Leading SM-Production processes and the Team in relation with Project Planning and Production of subcontractors.
  • Support development of the subcontract process from beginning to end.
  • Will be the point-of-contact, responsible for collaborating with all issues related Production issues, assisting them with day by day operation at site .
  • Managing the relationships with subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.
  • Negotiating with subcontractors to ensure that they meet deadlines and provide high quality workmanship.
  • Monitor and verify the work accomplished by the Subcontractors, identify their weaknesses and implement corrective measures. Liaison with Project Management and Trades Management to ensure Project Objectives and Values are adhered to. 
  • Assist site team on scope of work and split of responsibility

Qualification/Experiences & Skills 


  • Engineering Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Administrative expertise and contract-management skills
  • Commitment to high standards of quality and compliant work products.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Previous yard experience in project management / managing subcontractors.
  • Previous experience of active participation in innovation & technology drives in the industry .
  • Good experience in analysing/proposing/implementing technology in work functions to achieve overall cost benefits.
  • Fully trained and knowledgeable with relevant Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
  • Strong background with resolution of technical issues during projects planning and execution phases.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
  • MS Office Proficiency.
