STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN

We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of our projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and make necessary adjustments to designs.
•  Review and analyze structural designs for compliance with codes and standards.
•  Create and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change orders.
•  Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
•  Conduct site visits to gather data and verify measurements.
•  Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients to address any design-related issues.
•  Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and software advancements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Structural Draftsman in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
