STRUCTURAL BIM MODELER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural models using Revit.
• Ensure models comply with project specifications, standards, and codes.
• Utilize Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Create and update detailed drawings, plans, and schedules from BIM models using AutoCAD.
• Work closely with structural engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Participate in coordination meetings with other BIM modelers and project teams to discuss and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Produce high-quality construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct regular quality checks and audits on BIM models to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain an organized and updated database of project documentation.
• Utilize advanced features of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to enhance modeling efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Provide support and guidance to junior modelers and drafters on BIM processes and software usage.
  

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in structural BIM modeling within the GCC region.
• Proven experience in a design consulting company is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles, construction methods, and relevant standards and codes.
• Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
