Visa CEMEA, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Strategy Consulting Manager in Riyadh,
Saudi Arabia to execute high impact projects for Visa’s clients in the region.
Responsible for delivering and implementing projects and solutions with KSA
Financial Institutions / Issuing Banks who have a global footprint, the role will be in
charge to work alongside Visa’s clients on strategic initiatives that promote
sustainable and profitable growth.
1-3 years of experience in Strategic Consulting from a tier-one boutique, in Financial
Services.
What we expect of you, day to day.
The Strategy Consulting Manager will be in charge of leading a team of consultants
and deliver Payment Strategy projects for KSA Clients.
This is hybrid role and client-facing in nature, that will be required to frequently visit
and spend the majority of the work hours with designated clients, within and beyond
the projects.
Key Accountabilities:
● Participate in consulting initiatives and contribute to lead engagements by
identifying potential opportunities with clients: Issuing Bank Partners,
Acquirers and Merchants.
● Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations that
effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and
challenges.
● Build solutions and actionable insights that will help clients grow their
portfolios and customer engagement in their core business.
● Partner with peers in other functional areas (marketing, sales, risk, innovation)
and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage
the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources.
● Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client
performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide
strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments.
● Manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to determine
insights and recommendations for clients.
● Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting
approach that can be applied across VCA practice
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
● 1-3 years of experience in Strategy Consulting on the following tier-one
boutiques or in an internal Strategy department within a retail or
Commercial Bank.
● Consulting background and mindset. Best-in-class strategy consulting toolkit.
● Strong Financial Services experience, preferably on retail banking, credit risk
management, acquiring
● Experience managing small teams of consultants and working on-site with
clients
● Project experience in a digital and technology-driven environment
