We are excited to present an opportunity for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Strategy Manager. We are looking for someone with a strong strategic background and a well-rounded strategy toolbox. In this role, you will demonstrate the ability to frame situations, identify key challenges, ask insightful questions, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop solution, all while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution.

As our new Strategy Manager, you will help chart the course for DSV's future growth and success. You will be a key player in our Strategy & Integration team, shaping and executing our Divisional Air & Sea strategy across the Middle East & Africa region. You will work closely with executive management to drive progress toward our organic growth and M&A ambitions, ensuring that our strategic direction is aligned with business objectives and delivers meaningful impact across the region. The role is based in Dubai and reporting to the EVP, Air & Sea, MEA.
 

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Continuously review our regional to strategy to ensure strong performance in line with our commitments.
• Support strategic initiatives across division functions and report on progress to regional management.
• Facilitate and engage in strategic discussions and workshops with regional & executive management and other key stakeholders.
• Identify gaps and opportunities at regional & enterprise level and communicate recommendations founded in business cases and other data-driven analyses.
• Refine and promote our strategy toolbox and templates to support colleagues throughout the organization.
• Support, build and manage strategic business cases and opportunities across the region in collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Support post-merger integration work across division, countries and group functions when needed.
• Collaborate with Managing Directors to drive strategy execution and growth in the region.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

• A relevant university degree within e.g., strategy, finance, business administration, or economics.   
• 3-5 years of experience from top-tier management consulting, investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, or a strategy role in the logistics industry.

Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for generating data-driven insights and PowerPoint for creating compelling visual storytelling.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain management is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and align diverse teams across organizational levels.
• A confident speaker with strong presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Project management skills with a structured, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to managing tasks and projects.
• Willingness to travel within DSV as required.
