Job Summary Our client, a construction company based in Abu Dhabi, is looking to hire 30 Steel Fixers. Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Steel Fixer to join our construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cut, bend, and position steel reinforcement in concrete forms
Secure and tie steel bars in place using appropriate tools and materials
Ensure the steel framework meets design specifications and safety standards
Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Report any issues or discrepancies in the steel work to the supervisor
Requirements:
2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Steel Fixer or in a similar role
Good knowledge of construction methods and safety procedures
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Physical stamina to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments
Ability to work well as part of a team
Familiarity with the use of steel bending machines, hand tools, and other relevant equipment
Valid safety certifications or training is a plus
