PURPOSE & SCOPE: Jobs at this level are responsible for providing guidance and leadership to their engineering team and directly responsible for the timely issue of all engineering documents for their assigned large to mega size EPC project (enquiry/ job), including coordination between the engineering disciplines involved in their project. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordination with disciplines and other departments for the project.
• Liaison with/reporting to SPM/ PD/ED
• Schedule and Budget for the project
• Approval of engineering document for the project
• Engineering deliverable register
• Project engineering quality plan
• Technical assistance and support during project
• Engineering Progress Monitoring , identification of Shortfalls & implementation of Recovery Plans
• Implementation of Management of Change Process
• Completion of as-built documents
• Compilation of Lessons Learned
• Technical liaison with Clients, Subcontractors and Vendors
• Contribute to review and updating of departmental and project procedures
• Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.
Skills Required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• B.Sc. Engineering
• 15 years’ experience
• Certified Management IPMA / PMP or equivalent
• Proven project engineering management track record
• Organisational awareness.
• Planning & organising skills.
• Teambuilding skills
• Influencing skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
• Thorough knowledge of interdisciplinary interfaces.
• Fully Familiar with Engineering Processes of Various Disciplines and Sequencing of Work Flow
• Evaluation of Team Performance and communication with Team Members on areas of excellence as well as areas of improvement
• Basic knowledge of Engineering software.
• Written and spoken English.
• Ability to identify potential Risks and manage the Risk
