We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer for the role of Sr. Advanced Gas Technical Sales Manager for Gas Technologies, within UOP Process Technologies (UPT) located Honeywell Masdar’s office in Abu Dhabi.


This role to lead the development of comprehensive Technical proposals and cost estimation for UOP’s Gas Technologies.


The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with various engineering, sales, and business groups to develop a winning technical solution proposal in line with the project requirements.


This role requires a strong technical background in gas technologies with focus on NGL, Acid Gas Treatment, and overall gas plant scheme development.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Developing technically innovative solutions to sales opportunities both for revamp and new units. 
  • Working with Sales, Engineering and Business to develop technical proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies as needed.
  • Work with Sales to effectively describe UOP’s solution and articulate relevant value propositions.
  • Actively supporting Sales team to develop competitive project economics by coordinating with internal stakeholders, customers’ project economics in order to maximize the win rate as well as to support customer’s project economics (e.g. providing performance parameters in the pertinent technologies, taking the lead role at customer meetings for bid clarifications, technology updates, technical proposal review and general positioning of respective technologies).
  • Work with Sales to develop and implement proposal strategies to differentiate our solutions to address project specific needs including process optimization, process integration, project economics improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Experience & Capabilities:


  • Bachelor's Engineering/Science degree with experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong technical background in process engineering, simulation, and integration.
  • Experienced in Gas Technologies with focus on NGL and Acid Gas Treatment technologies.
  • Prior experience in commercial sales, technical sales, engineering, technical service, or R&D.
  • In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies.
  • Experience with simulation softwares and process integration tools.
  • Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
