·Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances.

·Perform regular backups and restore operations.
·Develop disaster recovery plans.
·Ensure database security (user accounts, roles, permissions).

·Secure database connection credentials with encryption.
·Monitor SQL Server performance, capacity, and health.
·Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.

·Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
·Experience: 5+ years as SQL Server DBA or similar role, with expertise in SQL Server 2008-2022.
·Skills:
·Proficient in SQL, T-SQL scripting, and database design/development.
·Familiar with SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and automation of repetitive tasks.
·Strong database security skills and experience with HA/DR options (Always On availability groups).
·Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic firewall/communication port concepts.
·Experience with cloud-based SQL Server (e.g., Azure SQL Database) and NoSQL databases.
·Certifications: Microsoft SQL Server certification (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) preferred.
