Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.



We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.



Job Description
  • You will be researching and develop an in-depth knowledge of each of the markets that we are in within Aviation.
  • You will be developing a comprehensive understanding and be able to clearly articulate and communicate the value proposition for the conferences and onsite content.
  • You will be Identifying high value partners and sponsors and pursue commercial sponsorships aligned with their branding and business development objectives
  • You will be maximizing exhibition revenue on your events, working closely with the marketing and production teams to promote your events.
  • You will build, establish, and accurately maintain, the sales database, and to provide accurate and timely reporting and administration.
  • In conjunction with the sales strategy and market landscape developed for event you will be generating new leads through cold calling
  • You will develop bespoke sponsorship packages based on client requirements, business development and market awareness objectives
  • You will develop an understanding of the major competitive events in the industry
  • You will work very closely with the marketing team to ensure that high value sponsor categories are being reached effectively and new sales avenues generated
  • You will create well researched sponsorship and exhibition proposals, working with production to tailor to client requirements
  • You will pursue partnerships and develop relationships with key local industry stakeholders and representative offices of major international organisations
  • You will have full management of sponsors and exhibitor relationships, expectations and requirements in the run up to the event
  • You will have onsite management of sponsors and exhibitors for each event
  • You will need to ensure delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors enjoy a memorable, highly positive experience and exceptional service and provide feedback through questionnaires in order to develop future events
  • You will be collaborate with Audience acquisition strategy: work with the sponsors exhibitors, and production to identifying priority delegates for the team to secure for the event.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience within Sponsorship/ Event Sales 
  • Communication - Business fluency in English 
  • Commercial awareness
  • Awareness of exhibition production
  •  Experience of growing and developing new markets and products
  • Tele-sales, media sales or exhibition background
  • Understating of event cycles
  • Spoken Arabic - Desarible but not a must
