Specialist Consultant Rheumatologist

As a Specialist Consultant Rheumatologist, you will utilize your specialized training to diagnose and treat conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and osteoarthritis. You will work directly with patients, developing comprehensive treatment plans and providing education on disease management and prevention strategies.

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including taking comprehensive patient histories and performing physical examinations focused on rheumatologic conditions.
• Order appropriate diagnostic tests and interpret their results to devise effective treatment plans.
• Administer treatments including joint injections and perform procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in rheumatology to ensure best practices in patient care.
