Specialist Consultant Neurologist

This role is critical for diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders, including headaches, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, dementia, and stroke. As a Specialist Consultant Neurologist, you will implement patient-centered approaches that ensure optimal care and improved quality of life for patients.

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting detailed neurological assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. Your ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in neurology will be essential in providing high-quality care and contributing to ongoing research and education.

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients with neurological complaints and conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, and EMG
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a wide range of neurological disorders
• Manage and monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions, available treatments, and coping strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Keep abreast of the latest research, innovations, and best practices in neurology
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
• Participate in teaching, training, and continuing education initiatives within the organization
