Specialist/ Consultant Gastroenterologist

As a Specialist/Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will have the opportunity to provide expert medical care to patients suffering from a range of gastrointestinal disorders. Your role will include diagnosing conditions, conducting procedures, and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and gastrointestinal health
• Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, and enteroscopy
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests, imaging studies, and biopsies
• Diagnose and manage various gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, peptic ulcers, and liver disorders
• Design and implement patient-centered treatment plans based on the latest clinical evidence
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
• Educational duties: Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and medical students as required
• Engage in continuous professional development to remain current in the field of gastroenterology
