This position is ideal for an experienced surgeon who is passionate about providing superior patient care in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the colon, rectum, and anus.

As a Specialist Consultant, you will have clinical responsibilities including performing surgical procedures, managing patient care pre- and post-operatively, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment. You will be at the forefront of utilizing advanced surgical techniques and concepts to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.

• Perform thorough evaluations, including obtaining patient histories and conducting physical examinations.
• Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests, including colonoscopies and imaging studies, to diagnose conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Execute surgical procedures including but not limited to colectomy, hemorrhoidectomy, and rectal repair surgeries.
• Manage comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Educate patients and families on procedural risks, benefits, and post-surgery care instructions.
• Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare team members for holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in professional development through continuous education on advancements in colon and rectal surgery.
