The role:
We are seeking a skilled Sound Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in podcast editing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording, editing, and enhancing podcast audio and video while also supporting our Market Reseacrh Room by managing technical setup and post-production editing.
Key responsibilities:
Podcast Production:
- Record, edit, and enhance podcast audio and video for high-quality output.
- Remove background noise, balance levels, and ensure clear sound quality.
- Mix and master audio for final production.
- Sync audio and video for podcast episodes.
- Implement sound effects, music, and transitions as needed.
- Provide creative input on audio storytelling and formatting.
Market Research Room:
- Set up and manage audio-visual equipment for market research sessions.
- Ensure high-quality audio and video recordings for research purposes.
- Edit and enhance video and audio recordings post-session.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to microphones, cameras, and recording software.
General Duties:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in podcast production and sound engineering.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and research analysts to deliver high-quality content.
- Maintain and organize audio and video files efficiently.
- Ensure all recorded content meets industry standards for clarity and production quality.
Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in podcast editing and sound engineering.
- Proficiency in audio editing software (Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Audacity, etc.).
- Experience with video editiung software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of microphones, recording techniques and sound mixing.
- Strong understanding of audio post-production processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
