The American University in the Emirates is searching for an energetic and creative Social Media Specialist who will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy across all platforms in order to increase the university's online presence, improve Marketing efforts, and promote the university's academic programs, events, and initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field in an accredited institution At least 2 years in managing social media platforms for a brand, institution, or organization.
Skills / Training / Knowledge
Excellent writing and communication skills Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of higher education marketing and an understanding of university culture is a plus.

- Ability to develop and implement a corporate social media strategy.
- Ability to monitor online activity across departments and geographical areas to ensure anyone using the company’s online tools is following established guidelines and best-practice rules.
