Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Marketer / Strategist to lead our social media efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for blockchain and cryptocurrency, coupled with a deep understanding of social media trends and strategies. This role will be crucial in building our brand presence, engaging our community, and driving user acquisition through various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•           Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our business goals

•           Create and manage content calendars for all social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms)

•           Craft engaging, informative, and shareable content that resonates with our target audience

•           Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance using relevant tools and metrics

•           Grow and manage our social media communities, fostering engagement and building brand loyalty

•           Stay abreast of social media trends, blockchain news, and competitor activities

•           Collaborate with the content creation and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels

•           Manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation and performance optimisation

•           Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and key opinion leaders in the blockchain and fintech space

•           Handle crisis communication on social media platforms when necessary

Qualifications

•           Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

•           Proven experience (3+ years) in social media marketing, preferably in the fintech, blockchain, or cryptocurrency sectors

•           Demonstrated success in growing social media audiences and driving engagement

•           Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics

•           Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences

•           Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralised finance concepts

•           Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)

•           Proficiency in creating and editing visual content for social media (images, videos, GIFs)

•           Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
