Job Summary: We are looking for a Site Supervisor to lead site team on marine sites and guide activities with their marine project expertise. Site Supervisor will manage a site team, ensure a safe work environment, and prepare basic reports and documentation. Strong experience in marine projects is essential for this role.
The Site Supervisor will be leading project execution team for the maintenance and installation of Aids to Navigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Represent the company on site, leading project execution team for maintenance and installation of Aids to Navigation.
- Oversee and ensure efficient operations at marine construction sites
Technical Expertise:
- Leverage marine project experience, particularly in Aids to Navigation, to guide project activities.
- Utilize knowledge in marine construction projects to solve on-site challenges effectively.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a site team, fostering a productive and safety-conscious work environment.
- Collaborate with Project Engineer and other departments to identify and report areas of improvement.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit periodical basic reports of site activities to project management team on site.
- Maintain all relevant project documentation for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 to 10 years of project management experience specifically within the marine construction industry.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards in marine environments.
- Physical Requirements:
-Ability to work effectively in various outdoor settings, including on-site at marine locations
-Willingness to travel frequently & adapt to extended work hours, including weekends/holidays when needed.
-Ability to swim and work efficiently on boats and at marine sites.
-Confidence and comfort in working on and around water-based environments.
Key Competencies:
- Strong experience in Marine Projects, especially with Aids to Navigation.
- Preference given to candidates with marine construction project background.
