Site Supervisor

Job Title: Site Supervisor (3 Months contract)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Site Supervisor with a valid driving license to oversee and manage on-site operations efficiently. The role involves supervising construction/installation/maintenance activities, coordinating workers, ensuring safety compliance, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to travel between project sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Management:

• Oversee daily site activities and ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed as per schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Work with designers and engineers to adjust project designs in response to unforeseen challenges.
• Prioritize workload while ensuring our clients' needs are met whilst maintaining strong and trusting working relationships with your team.
• Quickly address any issues or challenges on-site to avoid delays or costly mistakes.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and UAE construction laws.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
  
  

Team Coordination & Leadership:

• Supervise workers, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site.
• Provide guidance and support to workers, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Resolve site issues, conflicts, or technical problems efficiently.

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce health and safety regulations on-site.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure PPE compliance.
• Report and document any accidents or safety violations.

Material & Equipment Management:

• Ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate deliveries.
• Prevent wastage and misuse of materials.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain daily site reports and submit progress updates.
• Document any changes, delays, or issues encountered.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of attendance, expenses, and site activities.

Driving & Logistics:

• Travel to different sites as required using a company-provided vehicle.
• Transport materials, tools, and workers when needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained and in good condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in [construction/engineering/maintenance/other industry].
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Strong knowledge of site operations, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Certification in health and safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is an advantage.
