We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading Marble Distribution company in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing marble installation projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for precision in construction and finishing work.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee marble installation projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to determine project requirements and expectations.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate the progress of work and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets, to track project performance and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Supervise and lead a team of laborers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Utilize engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of materials, tools, and techniques used in marble installation and finishing work.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the company's high standards and client expectations.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and tools necessary for project execution, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Stay updated with advancements in marble technology and installation techniques, and incorporate best practices into project work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in site engineering or project management within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on marble or stone installation.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and engineering principles related to marble distribution and installation.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to create and manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
