The American University in the Emirates is searching for Service Personnel who is responsible for assisting the department in performing service duties, attending to visitors, department and/or office staff, performing any combination of clerical duties.

Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent 1 – 3 years’ relevant field experience Bilingual speaker (English and Arabic) Ability to work under pressure, flexible with work timings and work different shifts.
Job Description
- Ensures that the campus and corridors are always kept clean and tidy.
- Empties trash, recyclables, and waste, in accordance with maintenance company schedule
- Dusts light fittings and high places such as ceilings using ladders.
- Cleans and polishes furniture in office space.
- Moves furniture and equipment for either period cleaning or office reallocation
- Checks supplies and equipment functioning, and notifies the store keeper or manager on low supply levels in pantry, equipment malfunction, and building maintenance issues noted during cleaning.
- Arranges sufficient supply of refreshments for events and activities. Ensures that the stock is being replaced in the pantry.
- Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission..
- Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors
