You as Operation Manager - Digital & Service, Hub APMEA will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. You will be responsible for the execution of Digital & Transformer Service functional strategy and be the tactical guide for the Service Operations by driving implementation with optimization across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Ensuring full compliance with Hitachi Energy HSE, integrity and quality standards. Your responsibilities: Responsible for the driving growth, monitoring, reviewing, analyzing and reporting of the market conditions as well as customer strategies with an eye on competitor activities. Ensuring flawless execution projects, implementing the agreed delivery and performance standards to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Overseeing the day-to-day service operations, reviewing, and supervising the Service delivery and project execution. Assessing health, safety and environmental risks and implementing the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the teams involved (in-house teams, subcontractors, customers, etc.) and equipment. Working proactively with the group's product service centers to optimize the Digital & Transformer Service portfolio in line with market needs and leveraging mutual synergies, in collaboration with the Hub, Global Service Org. and country teams. Providing technical support and advice to sales teams in the preparation of offers and ensuring that assignments are delivered in accordance with the agreed contract (on time and on budget). Maintains a strong relationship with key customers, sales representatives, field service engineers to ensure sustainable growth with consistent productivity results. Collaborating on marketing and sales investments necessary to increase market penetration, as well as entering a new market segment whilst build customer awareness.  Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your background              A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering along with business administration, or a related field is often preferred. Advanced degrees (such as an MBA) can be advantageous. Relevant experience of 12 to 15 Years in operations execution of key projects, significant exposure in managing complex projects in the power industry, with Total Experience not exceeding 20 Years. Knowledge and experience on servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing transformers or others industrial/technical products, as well as transformer digitalization, condition assessment and fleet management will be considered. Minimum 5 to 8 years of successful experience in management positions. Strong leadership and ambition for the company's growth and strong customer focus (internal and external). Intercultural sensitiveness is required, with good communication skills in oral and written Experience in change management, coaching, motivating, and developing diverse technical teams Leadership with good communication skills in oral and written, with colleagues from multi-countries for assigned region. The person had better have global experience in the past and a strong grasp of the English language. Be willing to travel > 30% of her/his time
