On a given day, you will:
Analyse vast trading datasets to uncover unusual patterns, anomalies, or sophisticated exploitable activities that could signal potential risks
Spearhead investigations into suspicious trading activities, continuously enhancing our risk control effectiveness
Monitor and evaluate critical trading risks including product risk, concentration risk, exposure risk, and systemic vulnerabilities
Leverage AI-driven models and machine learning algorithms to detect fraudulent activities, predict emerging risks, and optimise risk mitigation strategies
Partner with internal stakeholders across trading, risk management, and compliance to ensure comprehensive risk mitigation strategies
Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of vigilance, analytical excellence, and proactive risk management

We would love to work with you if you:
Hold a degree in IT, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
Bring at least 4 years of experience, including 2-3 years in risk monitoring or fraud detection within Dealing Desk operations, online trading, or the financial industry
Demonstrate a good understanding of financial markets
Can make sound, data-driven decisions under pressure
Communicate effectively, explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences
Have exposure to trading platforms like MT5 Manager/Administrator or cBroker (a plus!)
Are familiar with different types of trading platforms and derivative products
Have experience leading small projects and working knowledge of SQL (preferred)
Are proficient in data analytics and AI-driven fraud or anomaly detection techniques, using tools such as Python, R, or machine learning models to identify trading risks
Have experience or enthusiasm for embracing AI technologies
