Operational Responsibilities
1. Participate in design & architectural reviews
2. Provide Tech. Leads with alternate architecture if it’s not available for a project
3. Prepare weekly reports for his team activities
4. Assist Software development manager with administrative tasks such as leaves approvals; team utilization, resources allocation etc.
5. Manage R&D activities: - Recommend improvements to processes, technologies & tools - Recommend improvements to SDLC
6. Quality audits: - Audit the process, solution design & source code quality of projects; prepare report detailing the non-compliant areas & share with project stakeholders. Provide details on remedial measures that need to be applied
7. Recruitment: - Conduct interviews for Module leads & Technical Leads
8. Process maturity & Standardization: - Investigate effective estimation techniques, tailor to project specific needs & prepare templates that can be used across projects - Provide guidelines on which templates to use in which scenario / type of project - Create and optimize different WBS templates for different types of projects
9. Induction: - Manage and standardize the technical induction process of new joiners to prepare them for project related tasks
10. Awareness: - Arrange & conduct mentoring sessions on useful technical topics to the team on topics that help improve the quality of deliverables
11. TAB meetings: Contribute to the TAB discussions to address architectural issues
12. Highlight incorrect patterns observed in a project conduct, and suggest ways to improve
13. Perform all other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor on time with reliability, honesty, and discretion.

Experience
Minimum of 8+ years of Technical and leadership
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent with related technical experience
