You’re passionate, self-motivated, innovative and take pride in your work.We’re looking for someone who has experience in growing and nurturing a Social team, implementing scalable work-streams and has a proven track record of owning successful strategic social media campaigns with measurable results, both organic and paid.This role will work closely with the Group Director to develop a social-first strategy that is client-obsessed and execute campaigns to enhance the brand’s social media presences in the region for all business units.Role & ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Managing and nurturing the Social team’s growth and motivating them to raise the bar in everything they do.Insights: Deep understanding of social media metrics, analysing data and using these insights to further drive creative ideas and make recommendations.Strategy & Innovation: Developing and implementing social media strategies in line with reputation, brand, and business goals for each business unit the retainer covers.Content Management: Overseeing and supporting the team to develop best practice local content into impactful audience-first, channel-sensitive, socially-native campaigns.Measurement and Evaluation: Defining frameworks like reporting templates, brainstorming, proactive pitching across the Social team to maximise efficiencies.Learning and Scaling: Creating playbooks and toolkits for all of the above.Cross-Functional Work: Work effectively with the campaign team to ensure organic social presence is being elevated at all times.Ownership: Retainer deliverables are being met, with the highest of quality. Stepping in, being a role model and rolling up sleeves to help the team execute briefs and attend shoots where needed.Experience & Competencies5-8+ years agency experience developing and executing social media brand strategies (organic and paid).Proficient in both Arabic and English.Building, growing and managing a social team.Experience in MENA (KSA and AE) social media campaign planning including owning major brand campaigns.Establishing influencer amongst internal and external stakeholders.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and internal teams.Ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines and ensure the delivery of high-quality work.Familiarity with Sprinklr or similar content management tools is a plus.You have in-depth functional knowledge and a deep understanding of content best practice on social media channels like Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook, etc.
