Summary
Uses advanced skills typically gained through a combination of training and considerable on-the-job experience to represent the quality of all products of HMH’s Lifecycle Services origin. Provide technical assistance to clients and perform/oversee field installations and repairs.
Job Responsibilities
·Typically acts as a lead, coordinating and checking the work of others – but not as a supervisor
·Provide technical support, mentoring & training for all less experienced Service Engineers and external clients.
·Performall work in accordance with HMH Lifecycle Services and client safety policies.
·Provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair services in shop or field environment on HMH’s Lifecycle Services equipment.
·Coordinate with the Operations/ DLS Manager and the Service Account Manager for onsite required parts, materials, support, etc.
·Advise client of any modifications or upgrades to HMH’s Lifecycle Services equipment.
·Supervision of subcontracted personnel.
·Participate in the Workshop and the Overhaul activities and coordinate with Overhaul Supervisor in regard to workshop tasks and activities
·Understands key business drivers and how it impacts the work of the team.
·Allocates work and provides subject matter guidance to other team members
·Exercises judgment, based on previous experience, practices and precedents, to identify and solve unique problems in the field.
·Prepare recommended electrical spare parts list for overhaul projects at the workshop.
·Prepare an accurate and detailed inspection report after damage assessment and be accountable for the all the provided inputs in the report.
·Report any additional scope of work or variations from standard overhaul scope of work.
·Upload all reports, timesheet, CSF’s and expense reports to the job folder.
·Advise client of modifications, bulletins or upgrades to HMH’s Lifecycle Services equipment
·Impacts the effectiveness of own team and closely related teams
·Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH's HSSE governing policy.
·Document all services performed, and actions carried out on service and time tickets.
·Stay current on information contained in Product and Safety Bulletins.
·Stay current on information with drilling procedures and ensure that all work performed is handled according to procedures and guidelines.
·Support all the company’s objectives.
·Interact with customers and other HMH personnel in a professional manner.
·Be guided by HMH Visions and Values in all activities

Required Qualifications
Education: BS or higher in an Electrical Engineering discipline
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Two (2)+ years experience in installation, Factory training with Siemens & ABB software handling, troubleshooting, and programming, Proficient in electrical circuits and components, Proficient in basic hydraulic circuits and components, Ability to read schematic and layout drawings, Proficient with software updating, installation, troubleshooting, Proficient at PLC operation and programming, Provides authoritative advice and expertise to diagnose, investigate and provide solutions to moderately complex problems, troubleshooting and repair of Oil Drilling Equipment or similar electrically operated equipment
Skills and Abilities: Has a specialized level of technical skill to perform a range of tasks. Ability to work for long periods and in extreme environmental conditions. Ability to communicate ideas and information effectively with others outside of own team; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. Above-average analytical skills and fault-finding ability.
