Job Description:

You as a Senior Project Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. To ensure customer satisfaction through effective project management and delivering results from order entry to project commissioning that ensure repeatable customer business.

Your responsibilities          

• Leading the successful execution of High Voltage Orders booked in UAE.
• Monitoring and achieving importance KPIs including revenue, cash flow, inventory, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, etc.
• Ensuring that all order execution related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets as well as schedule commitments.
• Building up strong relations with customers and managing customer satisfaction by on time execution of projects.
• Project reviews with factory management and factory Project Managers to ensure contract fulfilment.
• Taking an active role in identifying risks, negotiate and resolve escalated issues especially those raised by the customer.
• To ensuring that the portfolio of projects follows good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures,

Your background           

• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent with strong technical background
• Experience in High Voltage Industry with exposure to Project Management.
• Possess strong leadership skills and ability to lead the team and convince stakeholders in the interest of the project.
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver the projects with time, cost, and quality.
• Experience of SAP or another ERP platform knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
• Capability to develop work practices and to take lessons learned and implement them into the processes.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines and excellent collaboration and work with cross functional and cross-cultural team.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
