Who You Are Tactical is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee projects within our Finance & Hospitality portfolio. This role requires an experienced project leader who can manage multiple high-value, complex projects while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate with Account Directors, Product Leads, and Clients to validate incoming project scopes, align timelines with feasibility constraints, and maintain financial visibility throughout project execution.
Project Scoping & Validation
Collaborate with Account Directors (ADs) Clients, Creatives and Product Leads to scope and validate incoming leads, ensuring alignment with the proposed concept and feasibility.
Assess project feasibility by factoring in contingencies, permits, risks, and production constraints to provide realistic timelines and budgets.
Work closely with Operations to evaluate commercial viability before finalizing project plans.
Project Planning & Execution
Define detailed project plans, outlining dependencies, risks, and resource allocations.
Work with Resourcing & Product Leads to ensure internal capacity is considered before finalizing project schedules.
Manage and maintain project management tools (e.g., Forecast) to track timelines, tasks, and deliverables.
Proactively address bottlenecks, risks, and roadblocks to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
Financial Oversight & Vendor Management
Build and maintain a network of vendor partners, negotiating contracts to ensure financial viability and cost efficiency.
Track financial performance of all projects, ensuring projects remain profitable and aligned with business targets.
Maintain real-time financial logs for each project, ensuring detailed cost tracking and performance analysis.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
Work closely with ADs and AMs to map out the annual forecast and anticipate deal flow to minimize delivery impact.
Assess deal feasibility ahead of time with ADs to prevent scenarios that could affect project outcomes.
Lead retrospective sessions with key stakeholders, identifying learnings to optimize team collaboration, financial performance, and overall execution.
Regularly align with the Head of Operations & COO to review business targets, implement improvements, and drive operational excellence.
Experience & Competencies
Project Management Expertise: Ability to oversee multiple complex projects, ensuring structured execution and efficiency.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budget tracking, margin protection, and financial forecasting within large-scale projects.
Resourcing & Vendor Negotiation: Experience working with third-party vendors, negotiating deals to optimize project cost-efficiency.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Skilled in mapping out business pipelines, assessing deal feasibility, and mitigating risks ahead of time.
Collaboration & Leadership: Strong ability to align teams across business functions, from client services to delivery teams.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and project management tools such as Forecast, Asana, Monday etc.
Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to present insights, project statuses, and financial breakdowns to both internal teams and senior leadership.
