We are currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join our Group Technology & Digital Platforms Team in the capacity of Senior Product Manager. Overview of the role
The Senior Product Manager will execute Blue’s B2C mobile app strategy, delivering exceptional user experiences while driving business outcomes. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and innovative mobile experience. What you will do
Develop Product Strategy
Develop and communicate a clear roadmap for Blue, within the relevant POD, aligning with company goals and user needs.
Own the Product Lifecycle
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, testing, launch, and optimization.
Collaborate Across Teams
Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless and engaging app experiences.
Conduct Market Research
Analyze customer feedback, industry trends, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities.
Drive User-Centric Design
Advocate for the user by ensuring the app meets customer expectations, resolves pain points, and enhances satisfaction.
Measure Success Metrics
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and inform future iterations.
Prioritize Backlogs
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing technical feasibility with customer and business needs.
Lead Decision-Making
Make data-driven decisions regarding product features, functionality, and improvements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Oversee Financial Impact
Assess the financial viability of product initiatives, optimizing for revenue, cost efficiency, and ROI.

Mobile app product management expertise
Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, FIGMA etc)
Understanding of mobile app development frameworks and technologies

What equips you for the role
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science or any related field.
At least 7 years in product management, including 3+ years in mobile app development for B2C markets.
Complex Trade-offs: Balancing customer needs with technical feasibility, budget constraints, and strategic goals.
Stakeholder Alignment: Navigating differing priorities across cross-functional teams to reach consensus.
Uncertainty: Addressing ambiguous challenges such as market shifts or emerging competitor strategies with data-backed solutions.
User Pain Points: Identifying root causes of user dissatisfaction and implementing actionable solutions.
The role requires advanced judgment and the ability to synthesize insights from multiple sources to arrive at clear, actionable conclusions.
