As the senior, you will be leading a team of engineers to deliver projects in various disciplines including the following: Risk & Safety, Rig Safety, Environment, & SIL. Provide Guidance on the appropriate risk mitigation measures required for operational and integrity related Process Safety issues. Provide Guidance for operational issues on safety engineering systems including fire / explosion protection systems, and emergency facilities. Provide guidance, development and lateral learning to other Technical Safety Engineers. Facilitating hazard workshops for Process hazards. These may include HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification and Facility Layout and Siting.
Completing HSEIA deliverables. These may include Fire & Explosion Risk Analysis (FERA), Consequences Modelling, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Fire & Gas Mapping Study, Air Dispersion Modelling (ADM), ALARP Demonstration, Escape Evacuation Risk Assessment (EERA), Emergency System Survivability Analysis (ESSA), Control of Major Accidental Hazards (COMAH), Bow-tie Analysis etc. Managing discipline work to the required schedule and manhour allocation, including requesting personnel as identified by the plan, and day-to-day supervision of sub-discipline personnel on the project. Responsible for departmental PnL. Identifying work in progress and revenue forecasting Assist in preparation of technical & commercial proposals.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
Bachelor’s degree preferably with area of study in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering. Minimum of 8-10 years Process Safety exposure in oil and gas industry. Knowledge of safety related codes, standards and recommended practices. SIL Assessment, Validation and Verification training.
Software capabilities including PHAST and Safeti. Inherent knowledge of domestic regulatory requirements. Fluent in verbal and written English.* Good understanding of a complete HSE Management System
