Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Presenter at Arabian Radio Network Dubai Eye (Dubai Holding Entertainment) in this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

1. On-Air Presentation:

• Host live radio shows, presenting music, news, weather, sports, and entertainment segments.
• Deliver engaging and compelling on-air content that resonates with the target audience.
• Maintain a clear, confident, and personable broadcasting style.
• Don’t share any negative SMS messages with guests.
• Strictly follow ARN’s editorial guidelines – ensuring that the content red flags are avoided.
• Adhere to broadcasting regulations and station policies.
• Stay directional and ‘on’ mic whilst being as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
• On occasion a guest may cancel or not show, and you and the co-host will have to fill the segment.
• Do not make negative comments about a promotion/competition/ad which are running on the station.
• Avoid asking questions where a guest or co-host is put on the spot or left with nowhere to go.

2. Content Creation:

• Develop and research content ideas for shows, ensuring a mix of entertainment, information, and audience interaction.
• Write and produce scripts, including promotional material, news briefs, and show segments.
• Collaborate with producers and other team members to create engaging and innovative content.
• Record best of’s in advance in coordination with producer.
   

3. Audience Engagement:

• Interact with listeners through social media, phone-ins, and live events.
• Conduct interviews with guests, including celebrities, musicians, experts, and community leaders.
• Facilitate listener competitions, giveaways, and other interactive activities.
   

4. Technical Operation:

• Operate studio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, and broadcasting software.
• Ensure smooth transitions between segments, music, commercials, and live reads.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and work with the technical team to resolve them promptly.
• Master the Desk and software like Burli, Zetta and Phone box.
• When driving the show, you are in charge. Always ensure that the running order is followed and there are no mistakes while switching audio and turning up the faders.

About you: 

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Degree preferably in communication or a proven track record in the role/ Work experience in similar capacity
• Proven experience as a Radio Presenter, DJ, or similar role.
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to entertain, engage, and build rapport with a diverse audience.
• Strong knowledge of music, current events, and popular culture.
• Proficiency with broadcasting equipment and software.
• Creativity, originality, and a sense of humor.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
