SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER - MEP

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss project status and planning updates.
• Develop, manage, and update MEP project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with MEP project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to track progress and resolve scheduling challenges.
• Prepare and submit baseline schedules, progress reports, and look-ahead programs specifically for MEP works.
• Analyze MEP-related project delays, identify critical paths, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Assist in MEP resource planning, procurement scheduling, and cost estimation.
• Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims and handle contractual planning issues related to MEP projects.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, project specifications, and contractual MEP requirements.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to management and stakeholders with a focus on MEP progress tracking.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, progress tracking, and project forecasting for MEP activities.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss MEP project status and planning updates.
  

Key Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project planning, with a strong focus on Data Centers, Shopping Malls, and high-rise buildings.
• Proven experience working with main contracting or MEP specialist companies in the UAE.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel for MEP scheduling and planning.
• Strong understanding of MEP construction methodologies, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple MEP projects and work under tight deadlines.
