Senior Piping Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Piping Engineer , reporting directly to HOD-Piping  to join the team based in Abu DHabi, UAE

About The Role:

Your main missions and responsibilities will be included but not limited to:

• Technical management of the piping personnel under his responsibilities. 
• Provide guidance to all team members with proper work distribution.
• Coordination activities with specialists engineers like stress and material leads.
• Ensure implementation of project specifications, procedures, design requirements etc. 
• Coordination with other disciplines.
• Participate in meetings and assist in technical matters with clients / vendors and contractors.
• Participation during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, Hazop, lesson learned workshops, constructability review and Design/model review meetings
• Organise periodic internal 3D model reviews and assign job responsibilities to designers during this period.

About You:

• You should have Degree in Mechanical Engineering 
• Your extensive expertise in piping Design/Engineering 
• You should have at least 14 years experience in Major oil/gas offshore and onshore projects in the capacity of Lead or Area Lead Engineer.
• You should be a good communicator by means of effective written and oral communication abilities.
• You should have extensive knowledge and experience in developing Plot Plans, piping layouts, pipe routing study etc. of Oil and Gas, offshore and onshore projects.
• You should have experience in handing process units in 3D environment using E3D, SP3D tools.
