Senior Operations Manager

You will be responsible for handling the core of our business which is our captains. The Senior Operations Manager - 1P will mainly be managing the key day-to-day activities and performance KPI for 1P fleet.
What you'll do:
Fleet Management: Oversee daily operations related to fleet management ensuring that the fleet is operating efficiently and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
P&L Management: Monitoring revenues, costs, and expenses to ensure alignment with financial targets, analyzing financial trends, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives and drive efficient goal achievement.*Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet performance and fleet captains. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure that all fleet operations adhere to relevant safety, legal, and environmental regulations. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of fleet coordinators or assistants. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Fleet Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, and budget status to senior management. Highlight achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvements.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to fleet operations or captain relations in a timely and effective manner. Implement corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Fleet Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related role, with at least 5-7 years of experience. Strong understanding of fleet operations, fleet maintenance, and industry regulations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
