The role
We are looking for a senior Microwave Engineer to join our Radar Development team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF and microwave circuits, components, and systems.
- Create and optimize layouts for RF/microwave PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards).
- Develop models and simulations for RF/microwave systems using software tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST, etc.).
- Build and test prototypes to validate designs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and troubleshooting of RF/microwave systems and components.
- Use test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Lead and manage RF/microwave design projects from concept to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with the latest developments in RF and microwave technology.
- Identify and implement design improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience as Microwave Engineer with Relevant Education preferably M.Sc in Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
- Deep understanding in receiving and transmission RF architecture especially in multi-channel input RF systems
- Proven RF design cycle from specification, requirements, design, integration, and verification
- Experience in modelling, design and development of X-Band, S-Band, L-Band RF Boards
- Experience in modelling, design and development of Filters
- Experience with KeySight ADS, AWR Microwave Office
- Optimize circuits designs balanced and unbalanced Matching
- Experience with Altium Designer 21 Schematic/Layout Tools

- Support with testing to meet requirements

- You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written

This position requires you to meet the security clearance requirements in UAE.
