About Us:Flipp is a thriving e-commerce platform specializing in pre-loved shoes, blending sustainability with fashion-forward choices. Our mission is to curate an exceptional collection of pre-owned footwear that caters to diverse tastes, from fast fashion to luxury brands.Job Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Merchandiser to guide our buying team in identifying the most profitable and trend-aligned products. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the footwear industry, a keen eye for market trends, and a strong understanding of consumer behavior in the online marketplace.Key Responsibilities:Educate the Buying Team: Train and mentor the buying team on how to evaluate and select shoes with high resale potential.Trend Analysis: Monitor global trends in footwear, both in fast fashion and luxury, to ensure the inventory aligns with market demands.Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize sales data and customer insights to inform buying strategies and improve inventory performance.Vendor Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality pre-loved shoes.Forecasting: Develop accurate forecasts for product performance and work with the team to optimize stock levels.Consumer Insight: Stay updated on online shopping behaviors and preferences, particularly in the footwear segment, and adapt strategies accordingly.Market Competitiveness: Conduct competitive analysis to position the brand as a leader in the pre-loved footwear space.Quality Standards: Ensure that sourced products meet the company’s quality and brand standards.Qualifications:Minimum 5-8 years of experience in merchandising for multi-brand shoe stores in Europe, America, or the Middle East.Strong background in fashion, ideally with a degree in fashion merchandising, design, or a related field.Expertise in both fast fashion and luxury footwear.Proven ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior.Experience working in e-commerce or online retail.Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.A passion for sustainability and the resale industry is a plus.Salary Range - AED 5000 - AED 7000Please note, we work 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday from 8AM-5PM.
