Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. The successful candidate will lead projects, provide technical expertise, and mentor junior engineers to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components, from concept to final product implementation.
• Conduct engineering analysis, calculations, and simulations to ensure the integrity and performance of mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems with overall product designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, assisting with problem-solving and professional development.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project planning meetings to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
• Perform hands-on testing and validation of mechanical designs, including prototype fabrication and testing.
• Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in mechanical engineering, and apply them to project designs and processes.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source components and materials for mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for mechanical designs and products.
