Major Activities/Deliverables: which include but is not limited to:
∙ To perform troubleshooting of Caterpillar & Yanmar Main engines and Auxiliary engines.
∙ Preventive maintenance of Engine & mechanical system of Dubai Ferry and Water taxi.
∙ To perform maintenance on gearbox control system.
∙ To read all the drawings of Damen system.
∙ To perform Corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and modification of the onboard equipment of ferry and water taxi.
∙ To perform the calibration of pressure sensors, temperature sensors, alarms systems etc.
∙ To modify the mechanical system as per the requirement of new equipment / system installed onboard ferry and water taxi.
∙ To perform time based maintenance of the onboard system.
∙ To assist in all other works when required.
Academic Qualification:
∙ Diploma / ITI
Qualification and Experience
∙ 4-5 years in a similar job.
∙ Communication skill.
