Hilton - Regional Office - Dubai location Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates category Corporate Full-time MEA011SU Posted: Jan 6th 2025 The EMEA Compliance team is responsible for working with various stakeholders across the EMEA organization to help improve financial compliance, independently monitoring and providing expert advice to mitigate financial risk for our hotels. With responsibility for creating and maintaining tools to assist hotels understand and comply with finance policies, monitoring progress to provide relevant training and support to ensure high level of compliance and reduce financial risks across all EMEA hotels (leased and managed), t he role is expected to act as an objective source of independent advice and seeking opportunities to ensure continuous improvement to protect the organization and increase efficiency. · No job description can cover every issue which may arise within the role at various times and the holder is expected to carry out other duties from time to time, which are within the range of their skills and experience. The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: · Ability to work independently and take ownership of your own work. · Strong problem-solving skills. · Experience of building collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders. · Ability to evaluate and streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: · BA/BS/bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of. · Experience in hotel operations, with a good understanding of finance processes. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Detailed knowledge of hotel operations, and systems used by Hilton finance. · Good knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS & Sarbanes Oxley. · Audit experience.
