Senior Manager – Baggage and Cargo Design

What you'll deliver

• You’ll be responsible for driving the design of baggage and cargo systems for both airports; DXB and DWC with a key focus on incremental improvements, product innovation, and developing a world-class customer experience.
• You’ll ensure future design plans align with Dubai Airports' service propositions and innovative solutions and aim to elevate Dubai Airports’ position as a global leader in airport customer experience. 
• You’ll be responsible to bridge strategy with operational execution using data-driven insights and ensure baggage and cargo designs are integrated into infrastructure plans and major capital project designs proposals. You’ll develop baggage and cargo design solutions to improve asset productivity and resilience and enable capacity optimization through enhanced processes and systems and the solutions proposed must be economically feasible, future proofed, contribute to commercial returns [cargo] and respond to or improve or elevate the customer experience to an enhanced expectation.
• In summary, you’ll provide subject matter expertise (SME) in all aspects of baggage and cargo design throughout the design, delivery, and validation processes. Ensure alignment of solutions with business needs while continuously reviewing designs for DXB and DWC to meet corporate vision, customer expectations, current performance trends, and future requirements. You will develop and refine baggage and cargo design standards informed by industry insights and customer experiences, ensuring they are well-documented and integrated into Dubai Airports’ design processes. Additionally, contribute to team development through training sessions to enhance technical skills and promote knowledge sharing.

What you bring

• You’ll be educated to a degree Level with a specialization in Design, Engineering or related. 
• You’ll have a minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in managing Baggage/cargo systems design, developing multi-channel experiences and services and Project Management. 
• You’ll have a professional Chartered Designer, Architect/Incorporated Engineer certification. 
• You’ll have previous experience working with internal and external stakeholders and c-suite management level. 
• You’ll have working experience in Adobe suite.
