Synopsis

The purpose of this role is to lead Etihad’s Ancillary Revenue team of dedicated ancillary managers and analysts. Ancillary revenue is a critical building block of Etihad’s long-term growth strategy; hence this is a role with high leadership exposure across the company.  



It involves leading strategies to continuously enhance the existing ancillary products, identify new opportunities as well as optimize ancillary pricing. The role requires ancillary revenue knowledge, amid strong project management, consulting and stakeholder management skills.  




Accountabilities
  • Define the ancillary strategy in line with Etihad’s wider growth strategy and objectives, and ensure the team structure and mandate is always fit for purpose. 


  • Enhance existing ancillary products through review and revision of policies (e.g. seats, bags, upgrades, fees).  


  • Lead new product implementations end to end, from initial supplier conversations, due diligence, benefit analysis to contracting, onboarding and implementation.  


  • Prepare Ancillary performance presentations and present these to leadership concisely. 


  • Lead ancillary pricing system automation to ensure a dynamic ancillary pricing model is implemented.  


  • Act as the central point of contact for all Ancillary related queries. 


  • Improve ancillary reporting capabilities.  




Education & Experience
  • A comprehensive Airline professional, aware of business complexities. Post holder must have minimum of 10 years in the Airline or Consulting background, of which at least 5 in a senior management capacity within the Airline passenger environment driving and delivering business objectives through best practices.
  • Experience in Dynamic Pricing Ancillary in the Airline passenger industry preferred
  • Experience in PROS and Amadeus is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related degree, ideally with a University degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
