Senior Graphic Designer - 6-month contract

JOB TITLE: Senior Graphic Designer

CLIENT BASED: Abu Dhabi (onsite)

TYPE: 6 month fixed-term contract

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Graphic Designer who can create digital focused graphic designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of online media for our client based in Abu Dhabi for a 6-month contract.

This role will cover the entire process of defining requirements, visualising and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You will shape the visual aspects of websites, e-books, whitepapers, digital banners (programmatic, display), EDMs, landing pages and more.

You will report to the Head of Brand and need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design to inspire and attract the target audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualising visuals based on requirements
• Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software
• Testing graphics across various digital media

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

• Develop illustrations, logos and other digital designs
• Work with Head of Brand and content team to produce final design
• Test graphics across various digital media (A/B, Usability)
•  Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

• A strong portfolio of executed projects or other graphics
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Arabic speaking is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Marketing, Design, Fine Arts or production from an accredited institute
• Proven 6+ years graphic designing experience
• Familiarity with design software and technologies such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, HTML 5
