The core purpose of the role is to provide timely and accurate Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) reports to Management on a continuous basis and customize them as per requirement, as well as providing input in planning, forecasting and budgeting.

Description
Set up and continuously improve FP&A reporting systems.Understand Finance and Management's reporting needs and work with IT to develop customized systems.Coordinate with IT to gather accounting data for analysis and use it for timely and clear reporting.Ensure regular FP&A reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) are shared with Business Heads, CFO, CEO, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors, covering market insights, revenues, costs, and profitability.Prepare and distribute monthly FP&A reports with key financial data, including profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flows, variance analysis, asset utilization, receivables, aging schedules, provisioning, and market/competitor insights.Provide customized reports and data as requested by Management.Lead initiatives to improve financial processes in coordination with internal auditors.Create separate profit and loss statements for fixed assets such as warehouses, generators, and cranes to track revenue and cost allocation.Collaborate with Division Heads and the CEO to set utilization targets, plan resource needs, and assist in forecasting equipment requirements.Work with Division Heads to develop department budgets and present them to the CEO and CFO.Conduct project costing and feasibility studies for capital expenditures, including ROI, IRR, NPV, cost-benefit analysis, and post-investment monitoring.Help Division Heads assess the viability of proposed projects.Assist in strategic planning, including evaluating potential M&A opportunities.Support the development, pricing, and submission of bids and tenders.Help Division Heads establish pricing for equipment rentals and services.Oversee staff development, including recruitment, team building, performance appraisals, setting KPIs, and maintaining motivation.


Profile
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or comparable. Professionally qualified Chartered Accountant, CFA or equivalent is mandatoryAt least 10-15 years' experience in industrial companies, consulting or financial advisory firms.Knowledge of valuation methodologies and concepts including discounted cash flow, CAPM, WAAC, relative valuation etc. is critical.Good working knowledge of IFRSHands-on experience with Excel and capable of building complex financial models. Well versed in Power point graphics and the ability to create Power point decks.Ability to present financial data using detailed graphics, tables and charts.Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.Detail-oriented and able to perform in high-pressure situations and to challenging deadlines.Must possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior management and peers at both the company level as well as with external stakeholders. Should have the ability to engage with staff at all levels of the Group and exercise sound judgement.
