Job Description
Day- to-day operations:
Lead team of engineers and designers for structural hull discipline. Manage and review structural hull scope of engineering subcontractors. Perform structural hull analyses. Responsible for defining and planning the structural hull scope for projects. Develop manhour estimates for the structural scope of work. Responsible for input to tenders for structural hull scope. Ensure that applicable procedures and instructions are followed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master of Science in Ocean Engineering or Naval Architecture. Minimum 10 years of experience in shipbuilding and offshore industry. Min five (5) year experience in EPC FPSO projects of which one (1) project in a lead position. Concept, BID, FEED and EPC experience. In-depth knowledge of design of floating structures, in particular on FPSOs. In-depth knowledge of structural strength and fatigue analyses of global and detailed hull structures. Familiar with industry tools for hull structural analyses. Knowledge of applicable class rules and regulatory compliance activities. Well versed with procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other structural hull related engineering documentation.
