Key Accountabilities:
To develop Marine-systems philosophies, P&lDs, Line lists, Material selection / Piping Classes.
To identify interfaces with Top side for utilities design from Hull.
To prepare datasheets of Marine equipment, Valves / Special items etc for procurement.
Multi-disciplinary coordination with Naval Architects, Instrumentation for detailed P&lDs.
To manage different engineering companies/ reviews involved in P&ID design
To liase with Classification societies for comments resolution.
Very strong knowledge of all major classification societies rules / Class notations, IMO / SOLAS & Major flag requirements.
Sound knowledge on Vessel / Ships overall facilities, equipment’s.
Candidate to have track record of Major conversion projects (VLCCs to FPSOs & LNGC to FSRUs) and with full understanding of interfaces.
Awareness of Offshore standards such as Norsok, ASME, PED etc.
Experience / Qualification & Skills:
Master of Science / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering field from reputable universities.
Minimum 15 Years of experience in related EPC projects / fields including work in conversion shipyards, engineering companies and EPC contractors.
