We have the expertise to carry out full EPC&M services for electrical and instrumentation works and bring our intrinsic knowledge to measure and automate exploration, production, separation, refining processes, and distribution through our localized services.Job DescriptionMaintenance Management:Plan and oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of all instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with ADNOC’s safety and operational standards.Ensure that maintenance activities are performed efficiently and completed on time while minimizing downtime.Provide technical leadership to the maintenance team on troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of I-C systems.Equipment & System Reliability:Monitor the performance of instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimum reliability and minimal unplanned shutdowns.Implement reliability improvement initiatives and continuous improvement processes for I-C systems.Manage the lifecycle of control systems, ensuring timely upgrades or replacements to avoid obsolescence.Safety & Compliance:Ensure all maintenance activities comply with ADNOC’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and procedures.Ensure proper functioning of safety-critical systems (e.g., fire & gas detection systems, emergency shutdown systems, etc.).Maintain records of I-C system inspections and certifications in line with ADNOC’s regulatory requirements.Budgeting & Cost Control:Prepare and manage the maintenance budget for I-C activities.Control costs by optimizing the use of resources, materials, and services related to I-C maintenance.Contractor Management:Oversee and manage external contractors and service providers involved in I-C maintenance.Ensure that contractor performance meets ADNOC’s quality and safety expectations.Review and approve contractors' work plans, risk assessments, and method statements.Project Support:Collaborate with engineering and project teams to provide input into the design, installation, and commissioning of new I-C systems.Ensure smooth handover of newly installed systems from project teams to operations and maintenance.Team Leadership & Development:Lead and mentor a team of I-C engineers and technicians.Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.Conduct performance reviews and set goals for the I-C maintenance team.Reporting & Documentation:Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and maintenance logs.Prepare regular reports on the performance and condition of I-C systems for senior management.QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems maintenance within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.Prior experience in a senior maintenance engineering role is preferred.Hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).Skills:Strong technical expertise in I-C systems and equipment.In-depth understanding of HSE principles and ADNOC standards.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Additional InformationLeadership and team management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Analytical thinking and decision-making.Knowledge of international standards and best practices (e.g., IEC, ISA).
