About The Role

FTI Technology’s Blockchain and Digital Assets practice is experiencing exponential growth amid blockchain and digital asset technology innovation and we are looking for a dynamic, energized and knowledgeable Senior Director to join us as we continue building. The successful candidate will have deep experience delivering on complex blockchain and digital asset engagements.

Our Blockchain and Digital Assets practice provides a full range of services to crypto-native and crypto-curious organizations across a multitude of industries. Our active engagements include services supporting strategy and innovation, blockchain as a Service (BaaS), M&A due diligence, bankruptcy and restructuring, investigations, and more. What You’ll Do

• Support client engagement teams across the Blockchain and Digital Assets practice to understand client requirements and translate these into user stories and technical tasks.
• Work with a wide variety of clients to deliver blockchain implementations, strategic and advisory services, investigative services and expert reports, as well as regulatory compliance processes.
• Support practice and business development initiatives at a strategic and tactical level, proactively expanding our pipeline and our existing client relationships.
• Translate client requirements into formal agreements, establishing specific solutions/workflows, and lead the efforts that culminate in client acceptance of the results.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of each clients blockchain or digital assets solutions, excelling at project consulting and management, focusing on delivery excellence and outstanding implementation results.
• Work as Technical Authority internally and externally.
• Responsible for contractual cost estimation, budget adherence, schedule creation, timeline management, and other deliverables.
• Manage resources and coordinate client stakeholders to deliver services and solutions to support the client organization and purposes.
• Significantly contribute to thought-leadership initiatives, go to market strategies, sales efforts, and other practice development activities.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Deep functional expertise in one or more of the following:
  • Blockchain technology (supply chain and ESG experience is a plus)
  • Cryptocurrencies and their supporting technologies (wallets, custody, tracing technology, etc.)
  • NFTs
  • Web3
  • Metaverse
  • Regulatory compliance about these concepts is a plus
• 10+ years of relevant full-time work experience, ideally working within consulting and/or Fortune 500 companies.
• Proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide thought-leadership to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements. A combination of management and hands-on delivery experience is critical.
• Ability to identify client’s high-level business needs to lead the creation of detailed use cases and functional specs.
• Ability to support business development activities with emerging technology in a highly dynamic environment, understanding business challenges, explain our offerings and services to provide value and identify opportunities for differentiated offerings based on blockchain and/or digital assets.
• Proven story-telling ability to explain blockchain outcomes and results in context of the business and/or industry to make it actionable.

Desired Skills:

• Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information.
• Experience in building high-performing teams in an accelerated growth environment.
• Outstanding written and speaking skills; must be able to create status reports, write official reports, and demonstratedability to convey the complexity of blockchain and digital assets in easy-to-understand ways.
