We are currently seeking an experienced communications professional to join our Group Communications team in the capacity of Senior Digital & Social Manager.


Overview of the role
The Senior Digital and Social Manager is a pivotal role within the group communications team, responsible for driving our brand’s online presence and digital marketing strategies. This role demands a strategic thinker who can lead and execute comprehensive digital and social media campaigns that align with our business objectives. The Senior Digital Manager will oversee all aspects of our digital marketing efforts, including content creation, social media management, SEO, paid advertising, and analytics.


As a leader, you will guide a team of digital marketing professionals, collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, and manage external partners to ensure that our digital initiatives drive brand engagement, lead generation, and overall business growth. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of digital channels, a passion for innovative marketing, and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape.


What you will do


Digital Strategy Development


  • Develop and implement the group’s overarching digital strategy for social media and our group corporate website in line with business objectives.
  • Define KPIs and metrics to measure success across channels, ensuring alignment with brand and marketing goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging digital trends and opportunities.

Group Social Channels Management


  • Own and manage all group-level social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.).
  • Develop and execute a robust content calendar for each platform, ensuring content aligns with our communication pillars and business priorities.
  • Oversee community management to foster engagement, respond to queries, and protect brand reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze performance, creating regular reports with actionable insights to improve reach, engagement, and followers.
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to produce high-quality, impactful content tailored to each channel.
  • Plan and manage paid social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing ROI. Work with media buying teams and agencies to allocate budgets effectively, identify target audiences, and set performance benchmarks.

Group Website Management


  • Oversee the maintenance, updates, and optimization of the corporate website (dotcom), with a focus on user experience and performance.
  • Drive website traffic through SEO, SEM, and digital campaigns, ensuring optimal user journeys and conversions to our brands destination websites.
  • Manage content updates, including corporate news, business insights, leadership profiles, and thought leadership, working in close collaboration with the divisions.
  • Track website performance using analytics tools, delivering reports and insights to improve visitor engagement.
  • Manage website experience roadmap and lead and implement improvement opportunities.

Content and Campaign Execution


  • Develop and manage integrated digital campaigns across social media and dotcom, ensuring alignment with broader marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling content, including blogs, videos, infographics, and multimedia assets.
  • Ensure a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across all digital platforms.

Data & Analytics Focus


  • Ensure we are a data-driven team, utilizing analytics tools to measure the performance of digital channels and campaigns, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for leadership, demonstrating ROI and alignment with business goals.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Governance


  • Work closely with divisions and business units to align digital content with corporate and divisional goals.
  • Collaborate with PR, branding, and internal communications teams to amplify key messages and initiatives.
  • Establish and enforce governance policies for social media and website management to maintain brand consistency and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to regional teams and business units to empower them to contribute effectively to group channels.

Innovation and Trends


  • Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in social media, web development, and digital marketing.
  • Propose innovative ideas to keep the group’s digital presence competitive and engaging.
