Job Title: Senior Consultant - React Native DeveloperCareer Level - D1Introduction to Role: Join us at AstraZeneca as a Senior Consultant or Tech Lead, where you will have the opportunity to lead the design, development, and deployment of front-end applications. Be empowered to lead and take on more ownership in our dynamic and challenging environment!Accountabilities:As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of front-end architecture using ReactJS/React Native. You will provide technical direction, mentorship, and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, design patterns, and testing. You will also collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, leading technical discussions and contributing to decision-making processes. Your role will also involve working closely with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.Essential Skills/Experience:- 7 to 9 years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on ReactJS/React Native. - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies. - Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or MobX. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services integration. - Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. - Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn. - Knowledge of modern version control systems, particularly Git. - Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads effectively. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Knowledge of back-end technologies (Node.js, Express) is a plus. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.While not essential, any additional skills or experience in related areas will be considered an asset.When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. And there's a lot of space and a lot of support for developing my skills and for excelling at my role.
